Sloth Lanyard

I decided to retire my 7-year Simpsons lanyard that I got from Universal Studios. Thing's a champ but it's dirty and washing it really doesn't remove the grime without destroying the polyester material. It's served me well but it was time to replace it.This sloth lanyard is very cool. However, I immediately noticed that it's not as wide as my previous lanyard (almost but not quite). The other thing is that the release buckle is very stiff and tight -- I suspect that this will loosen with age and will be easier to release when clicking the tabs in on the buckle but for now, it's very stiff/rigid. My previous lanyard while not having a breakaway release on the back of the strap did have a strong velcro strap on the front that served the same emergency function. Moreover, the Simpson's lanyard from Universal had a better clasp to hold my ID. It had a fast-release button clasp vs the one on the Limeloot that I had to press & hold down to slide by badge notch onto -- uncomfortable and was a PITA to get my ID badge on. Unfortunately, I can't remove the one from the Simpsons without damaging it; otherwise, I'd swap them out really quickly.Overall, not that big of a deal but it will be pain if my badge holder needs to be replaced later in the future (which will happen); or when this lanyard needs to be replaced and I need to take off my badge to move it again.For the most part though, it is a better than decent lanyard with the breakaway and the release buckle and flat design. These are the key components that I like for my lanyard. Just wish the clip was a release-clip for the actual badge holder and that the lanyard was a little thicker and wider. This one feels kinda chintzy in comparison even though it isn't.
